Eagle Bay Eyrie—Serene Bushland Retreat by the Sea

The Space:

Nestled amongst three acres of native bushland, this distinctive two-storey limestone home captures the coastal charm of Eagle Bay, with wraparound verandas overlooking the surrounding trees and glimpses of the ocean beyond. Frequent visits from kangaroos and native birdlife create a peaceful retreat immersed in the beauty of Cape Naturaliste.

The upper level is designed for gathering, with a light-filled living room offering generous seating, air conditioning and seamless access to the surrounding deck. Nearby, a dedicated library creates a quiet corner for reading, while the spacious dining area invites long meals with family and friends. The well-appointed chef's kitchen includes generous bench space, a breakfast bar with stools and essential appliances.



Downstairs, a second lounge offers another welcoming place to unwind with a large TV, books, board games and table tennis, allowing everyone to spread out and enjoy the home at their own pace. A dedicated home office provides a comfortable workspace with peaceful bushland views.



Outside, wraparound verandas provide multiple places to enjoy the changing light throughout the day, from sunrise coffee overlooking the trees to afternoon drinks surrounded by birdsong. Wander through the landscaped gardens, discover quiet seating areas tucked amongst native flora, or relax beside the ornamental pond before spending an evening beneath Eagle Bay's spectacular night sky. Binoculars and a telescope are provided for spotting local wildlife and enjoying unforgettable stargazing.



The bedrooms offer restful retreats after days exploring the South West. Two bedrooms each feature a queen bed, while the third is ideal for families or groups, offering two bunk beds and its own lounge area for relaxing together. Three bathrooms, a separate laundry area, and on-site parking add convenience throughout your stay.



Guest Access:

During your stay, you and your group will have the entire house to yourselves. Please make yourselves at home!



The Neighborhood:

Eagle Bay is one of the South West's most sought-after coastal destinations, celebrated for its calm turquoise waters, white sand and peaceful atmosphere. From the home, it's an easy walk to Eagle Bay Beach for swimming, snorkelling or watching the sunrise over the bay. The nearby Cape to Cape Track offers spectacular coastal walks, while Meelup Beach and Bunker Bay are only a short drive away. Spend your days exploring acclaimed wineries, breweries and restaurants throughout the Margaret River Wine Region before returning to the tranquillity of Eagle Bay. Dunsborough's cafés, boutiques and supermarkets are only a short drive away from home, making day-to-day essentials easily accessible.



Getting Around:

A car is essential for exploring Eagle Bay and the wider Margaret River Wine Region, with Dunsborough just a 10-minute drive away. Free on-site parking is provided, making it easy to visit nearby beaches, wineries, breweries and walking trails at your own pace.

Please read and respect the house rules. This is very much appreciated, thank you! Before your arrival, we will also share a house guide that contains instructions on how to access the property, use certain appliances, and anything else you may need to know.



Quiet Hours & Noise Complaints:

Please keep noise to a minimum after 10:00pm in line with local regulations.

We kindly ask all guests to respect the property and surrounding neighbours during their stay. Please be aware that noise complaints are a breach of our terms and conditions and may result in the forfeit of your bond and/or possible immediate eviction from the property.



School Leavers:

We do not accept any school leavers' bookings at any time of the year.



Firewood:

A small supply of firewood is provided for the indoor fireplace during the winter months (June–August). Additional firewood can be purchased from local fuel stations and hardware stores.



Pet Policy:

This property is pet-friendly. A $95 pet fee applies per pet, per stay, with a maximum of two pets permitted. All pets must be approved before arrival. Pets are not allowed on furniture or in bedrooms and must not be left unattended at any time. Guests must ensure pets are supervised throughout their stay, and noise restrictions still apply. All pet waste must be cleaned up, and any excess mess, waste, or animal hair left behind may result in an additional cleaning fee.



Rental Agreement:

As part of our standard process, all guests are required to complete a rental agreement before arrival. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
