I made this reservation months ago and right out of the gate, when I messaged the owner, he took days, if not weeks, to answer my questions. When we arrived, we found many flying insects in our room mostly flies and gnats. So many, that we went to Walmart and bought a Zevo. The bed, a double, that looked so much bigger in the photos, was pushed up against a wall, so 1 of us had to be blocked in and getting out to be able to visit the bathroom in the middle of the night without waking the other up was difficult for us in our 70’s. We were sent instructions by Expedia messaging and we did exactly as described to get the air conditioning turned on but we were not successful. It was too warm. The tv was in a spot where you could not really watch it from the bed. There were no nightstands or even window ledges to put phones and other essentials on and no bedside lamps. There was a tiny yard for our room but it only had one Adirondack chair in it, not 2 as pictured in the promo photos and the weeds were so overgrown, we couldn’t get even a glimpse of Seneca Lake. When it was time to check out, our host sent us instructions to collect linens off our bed to deposit on the sofa and gather up trash to put outside in a non-existent garbage can.
The walls were thin, so we heard the baby crying and dogs barking in the next room over. There was trash lying in a bag outside our room all weekend. There was nothing good about this place except refrigerator.
