'It was a lovely place, well appointed, roomy yet also cosy on the cold nights. Loved the kitchen and the fact that they had a fully functioning kitchen with all the basics covered. The gardens were beautiful as well, very southern highlands in autumn.'

'We had a lovely stay at Dormie House from 6th - 10 July. We had a room that was clean yet really small to be honest . There was no where to hang clothes, apart from two pegs to hang our coats on. That was a bit frustrating. Also painters came in on the second day and the strong smell of enamel paint permeated into our room ...it was awful , I ended up with a terrible headache and went down to reception to see if something could be done. 'The keeper's cottage is cosy and quiet, loved the bath. The breakfast room is a beautiful, sunny place in the morning with a view of the golf course. Breakfast options were satisfactory and the food was great. The staff were very friendly. There was no iron in our room but they had one for us to borrow. They were very apologetic when we told them the fan in our bathroom didn't work. There were just some cobwebs near the ceiling but not a big deal cause the bed and towels were all perfectly...
