Get away from the city to this charming 2100 sq ft cabin on Lake Palestine.
- Unique pine cabin interior, mostly sourced and milled from the property itself, with big window views of open water!
- High speed internet, Directv, and completely furnished with all linens and kitchen items
- Stunning views of the beautiful East Texas pines and waters of Lake Palestine from all main rooms.
- BRING YOUR BOAT - private boat dock with lift outfitted for a pontoon/tritoon. Bumpers along the side to tie up other style boats overnight. Community boat launch is on our street within walking distance.

PLEASE NOTE house rules and guidelines prior to booking!

2 bedroom (plus loft with 2 queen/twin bunkbeds) and 2 bathroom home on Lake Palestine. A large patio spanning the width of the home is perfect for outdoor dining or viewing the sunrise and sunset. Hot Tub available in cool weather months September-April *HOT TUB CLOSED MAY-AUGUST*. Fish or swim off the end of your private boat dock complete with a boat slip, sea doo slip and fish cleaning station!

Guests have access to the entire house, patio and boathouse storage. The carport storage is not available for guest use.

Everything was perfect. Southern Breeze is a beautiful place for a family get together. We loved celebrating our son’s graduation here. The kitchen was perfect for all the cooking that was happening…it’s fully stocked! It was so clean! The Christmas decorations were a nice touch! We all enjoyed the beautiful sunsets, smores out by the fire pit, and the sweet little cat, Blue Mae that enjoyed hanging out with us. I seriously didn’t want to leave! What a wonderful lake house! Thank you!

Cozy cabin situated perfectly on the lake. Our stay in October was truly idyllic - the water was still warm enough for swimming and we had endless fun jumping off the dock. The lake bottom is sandy. The huge yard with tall trees made for excellent stargazing at night. The cabin layout was great for our family (2 adults, 2 children 5&7). The kitchen was very thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed to prepare our meals, both inside and on the grill. I’d love to rent this property again. We made core memories I’ll cherish forever.

Nice property with everything we needed. It was a quiet location and beautiful lake view. There were some neighbors very close but we had no problems with anyone. The backyard is spacious and well kept. Check in was a breeze.We did have a couple of cons/issues:It rained quite a bit while we were there, and rain started leaking into the living room. So we had to grab pots and pans to catch the drips. It was an unusually heavy rain. There were a lot of large mosquitoes as well, which might also be due to the rain. However, they did swarm around the house and made it unpleasant to be outside. All of that to say, without the rain and mosquitoes, I think we would have enjoyed our stay more. Also, the mattress unfortunately just wasn't very comfortable for us. (The kids did not mind theirs!)Tips: - Get groceries on the way in because it's a bit of a drive to a store--make sure you have k-cups/ground coffee if you are a coffee drinker (there's a keurig as well as a coffee maker), and extra toilet paper/paper towels. We also brought bottled water because we didn't care for the taste of the water. - The hot tub is not available during the summer, which we did not realize when we booked (but perhaps I should have read somewhere more closely--just adding here for others who may have missed it too!). Jessica was quick to respond to everything and we really appreciated that!

This home is an excellent vacation home. It has a great layout for couples and families. It has a unique set-up having 2 Master bedrooms with both bathrooms accessible from the bedroom and hallway as well. Very well stocked. The hot tub facing the lake was amazing!! The owner is very responsive to all communications. If I could give it 6 stars I would!!

Friend Reunion

Southern Breeze provided a wondrous stay for our family and our friends.' With four adults and six kids, we met the limit quickly, but never felt overwhelmed or cramped! The kids adored being outside on the back deck and in the yard, playing ball!! The breezeway parking made unloading in the rain wondrous!! And taking home clean laundry is absolutely icing on the cake!! ••My ONLY suggestions are to bring non stick skillets and spatulas from home, but other than that, every other possible item you'd need, is provided!! We have the highest recommendation for retreating at Southern Breeze!!

Outdoor experience

A little slice of heaven

We absolutely loved staying here. It had everything we needed to accommodate our family of 10. My kids and grandkids enjoyed the HUGE back yard. The hot tub was nice even in 100+ temperatures. LAKESIDE RETREAT

Driving in the neighborhood to the house is ghetto to say the least until you get to the lakeside. The homes along the lake are beautiful and well maintained. Neighbors were friendly and we even had a cat that came around when we were outside. I can't wait to stay again for next years fishing tournament
