'Wonderfully nice owners. Beautiful property on some farmland. Was a bit difficult to access related to lack of cell service (not the owner's fault - but something to keep in mind for future guests). House was clean and provided everything you needed for the stay! Would recommend to anyone traveling near. '

The owners are very kind., each morning they served a more than complete breakfast and gave us plenty of information about the area, tips and tops and also about their lives in this beautiful country. 'Het hotel is erg gedateerd, je slaapt in wat vroeger de studentenkamers van de Universiteit van Bifrost waren. Er is alleen vrij weinig aan gedaan, er zijn wat hotelbedden en kasten in geplaatst maar dat is het eigenlijk wel. Ook de openbare ruimtes zijn niet echt opgeknapt. Ook hebben de kamers een keukentje inclusief fornuis e.d. maar er zijn nergens borden, bestek of wat dan ook te vinden. De badkamers zijn misschien nog wel het ergste, die zijn vies, overal plekken op de muren en bij ons...

'This Lodge / hotel is realy FANTASTIC ! The owner and her staaf are so unknown friendly and helpfull. The dinner menu is great and the food is superior. I stayed for several days (Cabin 3) and it was outstanding !'

'We stayed at Mystic Light Lodge for the last night of our honeymoon, and I couldn't have come up with a more magical way to spend our last night in Iceland. The owners,'

'The room was great. I read reviews the night before and they complained about the floors squeaking and kitchen not being good. They must have remodeled since those reviews. Floors were all new and the kitchen was great. The email could have given more info on how to get there but if you search for Stadsrflot, that is the name of the road and it takes you right there.'
