'Nice place where you can really relax! The 3,5 km bumpy road takes you to "the middle of nowhere" to find a very nice and very well kept estate with a great view of the hills around. There are 2 nice swimming pools and a restaurant with good and honest Tuscan food. The people are very nice and take care of all your needs. Wonderfull place to spend a week!'

'Upon arrival Guido had everything prepared for us. A bottle of his amazing wine that he makes along with 2 wine glasses we’re waiting on the farmhouse table. The home had 2 very comfortable bedrooms and a bathroom along with a living room and kitchen. Front porch overlooks the stunning Tuscany fields. 'Our stay was outstanding. We got to stay in an 8th century abbey! We had so much space and a full kitchen. Beautiful property. Our hosts were outstanding, very attentive, responsive, excellent breakfast prepared by the family, good wine made on-site, option for traditional dinner (we didn’t have it but it was nice to have the option), just wonderful overall! Laura and her daughters and husband do an amazing job. '

'Beautiful structure in typical local style. Very friendly staff and always ready to answer your questions with a smile. The food at the restaurant is good but not at the highest level you can experience in the area. We enjoyed the location a lot being very close to Pienza and Montelpulciano. Unfortunately the rooms are quite close to the main road and it can get noisy early in the morning. The view on Pienza is simply marvellous as well as the country road to Monticchiello.'

'Tuscany was a dream come true! Podere Spedalone was magnificent. The staff was welcoming and very attentive always with a smile and accomodating. I loved that several ofvtheir staff spoke Spanish. We had the most fabulous dinner there with other guests. The food was delicious. They paid attention to every detail. We would definitely go back. We highly recommend it. It was very close to Pienza 12 min drive and Montepulciano. LOVED IT!!!'

'It's hard to imagine you can call staying at a property with the nightly rates that are being charged here as good value, but amazingly it is. This is by far the best property I have ever had the joy of staying at, the attention to detail is second to none. 'The Alloro apartment at the Zampugna estate was the perfect place to settle in for a few days and discover Tuscany. The beds were comfortable, the apartment well-furnished and Ricardo was a helpful and gracious host.
