'Nice place where you can really relax! The 3,5 km bumpy road takes you to "the middle of nowhere" to find a very nice and very well kept estate with a great view of the hills around.
There are 2 nice swimming pools and a restaurant with good and honest Tuscan food. The people are very nice and take care of all your needs. Wonderfull place to spend a week!'

'We stayed in Castillo for 5 days and we like it a lot. There was a good combination of medieval castle vibe and modern comfort. Although we’re mostly driving around exploring vineyards and small towns, we enjoyed the Castillo property, swimming pool and beautiful nature.'

'Beautiful structure in typical local style. Very friendly staff and always ready to answer your questions with a smile.
The food at the restaurant is good but not at the highest level you can experience in the area.
We enjoyed the location a lot being very close to Pienza and Montelpulciano. Unfortunately the rooms are quite close to the main road and it can get noisy early in the morning.
The view on Pienza is simply marvellous as well as the country road to Monticchiello.'

'A small, quiet hotel with just a few rooms set in the Chianti region of Tuscany. Huge pool that was just getting ready to open for the season. I get the sense it could get very busy but n the heat of the summer. Staff was excellent and very accommodating. A short drive to Siena and several small towns in Chianti.'

'Het hotel heeft een heel mooi zwembad en mooie kamers! De weg ernaartoe zouden ze misschien een keertje gelijk kunnen maken, of grote stenen verwijderen. De weg is stijl mer veel kuilen. Het bed was groot! Alleen de kussen hadden geen goede vulling. '
