  • Hunter Moon is the perfect luxury group getaway for family and friends, set on 25 peaceful acres in beautiful Broke Fordwich, Hunter Valley.
    This spectacular country house features 8 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, gorgeous gardens, sweeping lawns, a tranquil dam, and stunning views across the Brokenback Mountain range and surrounding vineyards.
    In summer, enjoy the huge 10-person jacuzzi, which can be set to cool depending on the weather, or splash around in the running creek at the back of the property. In winter, relax by the indoor fireplace or gather around the amazing outdoor firepit, with all wood provided.
    Hunter Moon has been designed with larger groups in mind. The home offers spacious indoor and outdoor dining areas, a fully equipped kitchen, multiple living spaces, ducted air-conditioning, Wi-Fi, Foxtel, Chromecast, Xbox, books and DVDs.
    The outdoor areas are ideal for entertaining, yoga, cricket, lawn games or simply relaxing with a glass of local wine while taking in the gardens, dam and wildlife.
    Located just minutes from the village of Broke, Hunter Moon is only a short drive to some of the Hunter Valleys best cellar doors and restaurants, including the award-winning Margan Restaurant, and around 15 minutes to Hunter Valley Gardens.
    Hunter Moon accommodates up to 22 guests across 8 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. The media room can also be converted into a ninth bedroom if required.

I have a lot of experience of large group accommodation and this is by far the best.There are an appropriate number of bathrooms, really good seating arrangements, really good amount of crockery, cutlery and glasses.First impressions on arrival exceeded our expectations and we were very pleasantly surprised at the provision of two fridges plus a drinks fridge, two dishwashers and a large oven.We had a slight hiccup with the wifi and the owner arrived and was very nice and helpful.All told we would not hesitate to recommend this property and the hosts.

We had a lovely two-day stay at this holiday home. The place was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and everything else worked perfectly. The location and overall experience were great.The only minor issue we faced was that the kitchen gas stove was quite slow to heat up, which made cooking a bit time-consuming. Apart from that, everything was excellent, and we really enjoyed our stay.

Plenty of rooms and toliets. Nice outdoor sitting area with a nice view.The hot tub was used everyday for the duration of the stay, adds a nice touch making the stay relaxing and peaceful.

Beautiful property, exactly as described. Fantastic for our large group of 16 women for a 3 night getaway. We arrived to find the inside fire already lit and fresh flowers throughout the house. Main table was made up with tablecloths and everything was perfect. We loved the fact that all beds could be configured into single size so we all had our own bed. Our host Colette was very informative regarding things to do in the area and was great to deal with. Also loved the big outdoor spa and firepit.

Beautiful home, quiet and peaceful location

We loved our stay at Hunter Moon Country House. Accommodation was ideal for 5 couples and was so relaxing coming back to the large outdoor spa after a big day of wine tours around the Hunter Valley.

Tranquil and Serene

We had an amazing time at Huntermoon. The location was tranquil and perfectly equipped with lots of activities to keep the kids entertained. The kitchen and bbq area was well stocked to cater for a large group.

Absolutely beautiful house in Broke

This is an amazing and beautiful house in Broke to stay at. Wonderfully located close to the great wineries of Broke. The house itself is decorated very beautifully and the house easily accommodates a large group. The owners are very easy to deal with and ensure you have a great stay.

Fabulous house and setting

Our family group stayed at Hunter Moon While attending a wedding in Wollombi. It was such a fabulous house, beautifully decorated, well equipped and perfect for our group of 15. We didn’t want to leave!. We would definitely stay there again.
