'Het hotel was onze boeking vergeten. Ondanks dat we 's morgens nog gebeld hadden. Uiteindelijk hebben ze een andere locatie voor ons geregeld en die was prima. Het prijsverschil hebben ze terugbetaald. Na in eerste instantie teleurgesteld te zijn, hebben ze het goed opgelost.'

'Simply Outstanding. Don't go by the over- or under-photoshopped pics. The place is extremely comfortable, well-sized, with a plush bathroom, all imaginable amenities, the nicest kitchen we have seen, and amazing views. Please don't forget to gaze at the stars at night. We stayed in the Learach room. Since this is the located the "lowest" of all cabins, it gets the least amount of afternoon / evening sun and limited views of the water from outside, but we didn't mind. '

'Excellent location in the town center of Portree. Cooking facilities and a lounge with a beautiful view on the bay. Friendly staff. The shared bedroom, however, was too small for the number of people and not so convenient. '

'I love this hotel so much. Location wise it was perfect. Our room was more than wonderful. New, clean, spacious, I would recommend it to everyone and I am a very picky person and a neat freak. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed due to lack of staff but we were sent to the sister hotel down the road and it was excellent!'

'We zijn 3 nachten verbleven bij het Duisdale house hotel. Dit was werkelijk geweldig. Het hotel heeft een geweldige keuken. Ambitie is 1 michelin ster te behalen, maar dat is wellicht iets te hoog gegrepen. Niettemin: geweldig eten, met alle zorg die erbij hoort. Dit is een hotel waarin je aan het eind van een grauwe, verkleumende, morsige dag terugkomt en dan de typisch Schotse sfeer treft: een lobby met banken om in weg te zinken, een open haard die volop brand en dan een dubbele whisky. 'Had a reasonable good stay at the hotel, the staff was really kind and helpful and the food was great. The price however is way too high for the state that this hotel is in. The furniture is old and damaged, the TV is small and the smart functions don't work properly. And last but definitely not least was the noise, we could hear every guest coming past our room, as our room was close to the dining area/bar. It woke us up late at night and early in the morning.'
