'Kamer was redelijk van afmeting en het bed was goed. Wel een betere kamer dan de standaard geboekt. Lobby en restaurant waren nogal gedateerde ingericht. De kamer lag aan het terras waar zich ook het enige en kleine raam bevond. Dus voor de ventilatie moest het wel open blijven. Gelukkig geen andere gasten `s avonds op het terras, want dan zou je geen oog dicht doen vanwege hun gepraat. Het hotel ligt aan een doorgaande weg, dus oordoppen mee!'

'Check in was so easy as there wasn’t any! Not sure how safe leaving the door open was, but it worked. Suppose it saves on paying reception staff! The goat was a bit of a surprise, and he did welcome us! On a negative, the room was very noisy due to the water system running through the radiators and pipes. But served a purpose for a short stay due to an early morning flight.'

'I was lead to believe (from hotels.com presentation) I had a cabin with a private hot tub, and would therefore expect an en-suite. I had a double room with shared facilities, very poor accessible shower. Room was clean and fine for my needs. I didn’t read the fine print so had difficulty in gaining entry, but after numerous phone calls (answer phone messages) and a prolonged email chat, access was afforded. 'We had a lovely stay for a long weekend for our big wedding anniversary. Very comfortable room and lovely breakfast every day. Only 13amp charger for the EV but that was absolutely no problem as there are plenty of public chargers available round and about and we just used one of those whilst we were out for an evening meal on our first night Fresh milk and bottled water available for ‘proper’ coffee in brew bags and wide selection of teas which was nice and so much better than long life...
