The apartment is situated on the 1st and 2nd floors of a 3-storey building that\'s reached via a stone-paved alley, with a ramp and 15 steps. The property is the ideal choice for a family or small groups of friends and enjoys a pretty balcony that offers breathtaking views of the lake and surrounding mountains. Here, guests can bask in the sun, dine alfresco or simply enjoy a morning coffee.

Inside, the spacious living room features picture windows with lake views, comfortable sofas and a smart flatscreen TV. A dining room, situated between the kitchen and the living room, is furnished with a solid wood table for 6 people. A staircase in the dining room leads to the bathrooms on the upper floor. The separate kitchen is equipped with a Moka coffee machine, a cooker hob, a microwave, a dishwasher, and a full-sized fridge freezer. Behind the kitchen, there is a very practical storage cupboard and a door leading into the main part of the large old stone farmhouse; this door also serves as an alternative to the main entrance

If you fancy hiring an e-bike for a ride at high altitude, you’ll find the e-bike service 50 metres from the house entrance.

The property is situated a 4-minute drive from the ferry terminal in the picturesque lakeside town of Brissago, a 10-minute drive from the Italian border. Ideally located for exploring the Brissago Islands, Ascona, Locarno, and the beautiful landscapes of Ticino, the apartment offers the perfect blend of relaxation, nature, and culture.

On the gorgeous Brissago Islands, guests can explore magical forests, picturesque beaches, Roman baths and the famous Emden Villa. Guests are also within easy reach of the beautiful lakeshore town of Ascona (a 13-minute drive) with its beautiful villas and gardens of lemon, orange and cedar trees. Locarno, where the famous Locarno Film Festival takes place, and Centovalli, a spectacle in autumn, are also a convenient 15-minute drive away. Lake Maggiore\'s beaches and Lidos also offer opportunities for relaxation and recreation. The closest being Brissago\'s Lido (a 5-minute drive away).

The closest international airport is Lugano Airport (LUG), approximately a 1-hour drive from the accommodation. From Locarno station, bus 316o takes you to Brissago Posta. Visitirs can then use the free shuttle n.8 heading to Costa di Mezzo area. The nearest bus stop is Brissago - Bellavista - SerD.
