This building was originally built as a train station, yet it never had the opportunity to fulfil its purpose as the train route was redesigned and bypassed Flamborough. In 2021 the whole building had an extensive renovation and it has been redesigned as beautiful holiday apartments, centrally located so that you can enjoy all of the surrounding amenities. Each apartment is named after a famous train, and The Rocket has some beautiful original features, including the fireplace (for decorative purposes only and not to be lit) and the wooden flooring. Located on the first floor each room is a step down from the hallway. You have an open plan living room with a dining area, perfect for relaxing in an evening. There is a separate well-equipped kitchen, which is compact yet well laid out. The kingsize bedroom has its own en suite shower, there is also a separate bathroom which has both a freestanding bath and a second walk-in shower. So you each have your own shower.

Flamborough is a renowned beauty spot and a twenty five minute stroll from your doorstep brings you to the headland with views down to the little sandy bay where fishermen still mend their nets. Surrounded and protected by a rugged cliff line that provides excellent cliff top walks and breath taking views across to the RSPB Bird Sanctuary at Bempton and onwards to Filey Brigg. Traditional seaside towns such as Bridlington, with miles of sandy beaches, and leisure facilities including a swimming pool and spa pavilion, is just 3 miles away. The seaside resort of Scarborough boasts two beautiful beaches as well as an open air theatre and Alpamare heated outdoor pool and spa. A leisurely stroll along the South Cliff and Esplanade affords panoramic views across to the 12th century castle ruins. Offering excellent shopping, galleries and museums. The historic port of Whitby with its maritime connections is great for a day out, with its iconic abbey ruins. Further inland is the North Yorkshire Moors National Park with many quaint little villages to explore.
