Positief: Netheid, voorzieningen en staat van de accommodatie en faciliteiten
Barbados Chi Guest House was an excellent stay from start to finish.
To begin, the guest house is centrally located in the diplomatic area of "B-Town". Being steps away from embassies and other government buildings was an excellent start to seeing the local historic treasures.
As a traveller who was looking for a natural experience entwined with the Bajans, the 5 minute walk to the bus and 20 minute walk to Carlyle Bay became central to my exploration of Barbados via bus/taxi.
Secondly, the guest house is beautifully nestled on a parcel that allows for patio sunrises looking into the expansive natural garden the hosts have in the yard.
Next, the hosts were fantastic. I was a solo traveller and from my original arrival till departure, they were full of courtesy, suggestions for locations, and how to travel to the planned spots, all while quietly tending their garden.
My welcome included the host taking me down to Carlyle bay for the evening, taking her time to welcome me to Barbados, while helping me get comfortable with the week of exploring the island on foot i had planned. They even fixed a blown shower head seal the same day I informed them of the issue.
Christy and Victor (aka Box) will be my first call for my next trip to Barbados, when I return to take in my missing site explorations. My next trip will include friends, so remember that they can accommodate large groups >10 as well.
