'There was less comfort in the room. Examples: 1. Window could not be opened (broken rope), 2. carpet worn out, 3. iron not performing optimally, 4. doorlock from inside not stable, 5. shower equipment not properly tightened, 6. too much noise at ceiling level from other guests, 7. wifi signal too weak in the room, 8. room not properly cleaned when arriving.'

'The room was pretty cold on arrival, but soon worked out how to get the heating on.Staff were very helpful and managed to sort out my booking, that Expedia failed to notify the hotel, so they were not expecting me.The room was aa bit outdated,and not very soundproof, the 7 lane bypass was very noisy during the night,even with the window closed.'

'Helaas werd ik rond middernacht wakkergebeld door de receptie. Daarna werd ik nogmaals rond 5u en daarna rond 5u30 wakker van een ritmisch luid gebons. Mijn collega die in de kamer naast me sliep had last van hetzelfde. Voor de rest was het ontbijt beetje teleurstellend, de lunch was wonderbaarlijk uitstekend. Het imposante en bombastisch hotel is helaas een beetje gedateerd.'

'Didnt even get to the property. Wrongly advertised as having free parking. The manager refused to help as unaware to me there is a £100 deposit. Until i paid this . Even though I paid for the room he would not give me any details of the location. So held to ransom . He was polite but unhelpful. I chose this property exclusively because of parking as I cant walk distances and especially with a suitcase. Im still trying to get my money back '

'So i irrived to a bed. Good start. Anne franks attick would be the ritz compared to this. Tv didn't work, heater didn't work, dispite me being advised to plug it in by the lady on reception. This turned out to not be a problem as she worked out how to put the heating on permanently for the next 2 day. Breakfast on the 1st morning wasn’t something id normally spend 7 quid on as it leaked oil from everywhere, i didn't have a 2nd Breakfast as the other guest sitting with his 4 pint cans of Stella...

'I had a really pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was spotless, well-organized, and had a fresh, clean scent as soon as I walked in. The bedding was crisp and comfortable, and housekeeping clearly paid attention to detail throughout the space. The bathroom was equally clean, with neatly arranged toiletries and no signs of wear or mess.'
