    Staying at this gorgeous single-story house on a deepwater canal will feel like a vacation in itself. Venture out by land or by sea, with beaches just a quick drive away and direct canal access by boat from the private dock. One of the best vantage points for watching passing watercraft is the private pool in the beautiful professionally landscaped backyard. Underneath the adjacent tropical gazebo, you'll find the Blackstone griddle and outdoor dining table ideal for hosting an intimate cookout or sipping a frozen cocktail while listening to the pool spa's cascading fountain. If you need a little shade without sacrificing the sunshine, hang out in the lounge area on the screened porch for the best of both worlds.



    The home's interior features abundant natural light in an airy space tastefully decorated in a coastal theme appropriate for being so close to the local beaches.

We are very much enjoying our time at this house. House was beautifully decorated plenty of space. Loved having beach towels here. Outside seating area was wonderful.

Home was clean and fully stocked with essentials. The pool/patio was nice and relaxing, and we got to see manatees in the canal!!

We were in town for our daughter’s wedding and then few extra days for a little family vacation. The home and especially the host were absolutely wonderful! So accommodating even when we needed just a little extra help! It was everything we could have ansked for and more! We will defiantly be back next year!!

Lovely space. Great loungers, perfect poolside setup for tanning. Great layout in the house, especially for two couples. Pretty neighborhood. Hope to return! If you plan to spend time on the island, keep in mind that crossing the bridge can take 10 to 40 minutes, depending on timing.

House was amazing and had everything we needed. Even the kitchen was supplied with everything we needed down to the grilling utensils. Boat dock was good. Pool area was very nice. House is in a great location.

Great home

This home is perfect 2 couples or just 2 people. Double master bedroom/ bathrooms, Plenty of space & very clean. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub, outdoor seating, gas grill & the Blackstone! Peaceful morning with coffee on the dock too! Will definitely rent & refer this home for future stays.

Perfection Close to IMG

If you are looking for a perfect place to stay while your child competes at an event at IMG this is your place. Close. Clean. Hot tub. Blackstone griddle. Comfortable beds. Sleeps 8. It checks all the boxes.

Perfection!

This house is everything and more. Lots of space, cleanliness, comfortable beds. TVs are huge! Kitchen has numerous crock pots, 3 cookie sheets, Blackstone and a Regular gas grill. The pool is beautiful, as is the view of the canal. Neighborhood is perfect for walking! We walked every morning. I cannot say enough great things about this home. Rent this one..you will not be disappointed!

Outstanding property in a quiet neighborhood

We absolutely loved our stay at the Sapphire Sea Star. The house and property are exactly as in the pictures, the house is tastefully decorated and very well equipped. Probably one of the most comfortable beds we've had at a property. The neighbor hood is pretty quiet and just far enough away from the overly crowded Anna Maria Island but still easy to get to if you want to spend a day or two walking around or going to the beach. Pool heat was the only issue we had as it was unseasonably cool while we were there and even though paying for pool heat, it never got warm enough to use. Also, communication is not with the actual property owner but Vacasa, a property management company who seems to be overloaded, which proved to be difficult as they don't have a number to call, nor do they have real time chat, we didn't get a reply to our one issue until after we had returned home so be aware of that. Other than that. we would happily stay at this property again and again.
