'This place could really use some updating, the fridge hummed loudly off and on all day, I found many hairs on the bed, only the two smallest burners worked and whoever was in the room above me constantly walked back and forth all day & night! And I have yet to receive my damage deposit as today and I checked-out on Saturday April 18th!'

'Clean!!!! This is our most important criteria for an accommodation and this place is clean!!! The owner is very nice and helpful, making you feel comfortable right away. One thing to improve is to add policy (and sign) for guests to be quiet after certain hours. We had a group coming in at 2am and started sitting in the common room, talking, laughing until 3am. It was pretty frustrating. Overall, great stay! Did we say clean? '

'One of the best cottages in the Rustico/ Cavendish area! The two bedrooms are perfect for a family and the cottage is spacious with beautiful views. Nice that there's a playground and beautiful path to the water and an outdoor pool and hot tub. Cottage #1 is closest to the road and does get traffic noise but think the higher number cottages are probably very quiet. '

'We booked this for our mini honeymoon the three nights following our wedding (end of Sept) and were excited to stay in the King Suite. But ended up being quite disappointed. The room was very cold with no heat and the front desk person wasn't the nicest when we asked for extra blankets. We weren't expecting the red carpet but at least a "thanks so much for choosing to stay here for your honeymoon". Some of the staff were great but generally no one cared that we had chose Dalvay for our honeymoon...

'Nice property. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. My only complaint would be that the lighting in the cottages could have been better. The kitchen lights were not placed in good locations making the kitchen dark. No light over the sink and counters so when it was “uncomfortable” prepping meals. '

'Extremely friendly staff who really took the time to show all the areas of the house and where complementary food and drinks can be found, day and night (coffee/tea) or sodas for a small fee. Great hospitality. Room was good. Clean and with all the necessities. Breakfast was great and plenty of choices. Would recommend this location. '

'Overall good place to stay, very clean. Modern. Good bed, smart tv, full kitchen, bath - private full apartment style. Recommend! Cons : not super private outside - no small amenities such as coffee - not everyone coming to stay has a packed food prep, having at least coffee/cream in the am would enhance the experience and not have to make me go out to get it.'
