'We’ve been coming to Lake Gaston for many many years but this was a first at this house. It was by far the most beautiful and comfortable house we have ever rented. House was very well stocked for cooking. Plenty of space for storage and lounging. Our only complaint was the water space off the dock was pretty overrun by grass and weeds. We easily rectified that by going out on a pontoon for our swims. Hopefully we will be able to stay in this wonderful home again. Thank you for having us!!'

'I had an amazing experience at this Slice of Heaven. The neighborhood is very quiet and serene. The house is extremely inviting and comfortable with lots of extra touches from the hosts. I slept like a baby and enjoyed watching the sunset and sunrise on the screened back porch overlooking the lake. The view was unforgettable and breathtaking. I wish I could have stayed longer.This will be my preferred home any time I'm in the area!'

'We had a great week (July 2025)! Perfect size house for our family of 6. House was well appointed and maintained. Excellent outdoor areas (boathouse and patio). Fun game room/tv room in basement. Good beds and baths. Loved location near Eaton Ferry Marina and mid-lake. One small downside is the shallow/mucky water off the dock, but you only have to go out a short way to get to great spots for swimming/floating, which we did all day. Owner was very responsive to all my messages, including...

'We had so much fun at this house. Probably one of our best vacations! The house was perfect for our needs. It has a shallow area great for kids but also deep enough at the dock to jump in. The shallow swimming area is shaded in the afternoon which saved us (heatwave that week). The kitchen was well stocked and we cooked there most nights. We even caught some decent size fish from the dock. We truly had a great time!'

'Great family vacation! We enjoyed the lake and all the lake toys (kayaks, SUP's, water trampoline.) The grandkids caught fish off the dock, enjoyed the inside toys, and loved the hot tub! The house was fully stocked with everything! Good communication with owner. They reached out several times during our stay!'
