'We communicated specifics with the owner, so won't go into full details. The location is great, but that doesn't overcome that it was uncomfortably dirty in many ways. AC went out, so with temps in the 90s the inside was a balmy 82...all night and no way to open the windows. The bottom line is, with this booking there was a higher than normal cleaning fee. When we arrived we expected the place to be spotless. It was the opposite.This is also a duplex. That was not clear to us when we booked....

'Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Could use some hooks and/or towel racks other than the one over the toilet. The sink was in a different room with no where to hang your towel. ?? Heater made the room so dry. Did not sleep for the noise from the heater turning on and off (loud!). Staff was courteous. '

'Complex dient gerenoveerd te worden en is absoluut geen Plus. Badkamer smerig en geen ventilatie! Ontbijt zeer beperkt. Zwembad staat op de parkeerplaats (zie je niet op de foto) en er waren slecht een ligbed en drie kapotte stoelen aanwezig en veel rotzooi door volle afvalbakken. Personeel was aardig. '

'We very much enjoyed staying here. We had the mother in law suite part of the house which was more than adequate for our needs. We loved the historic home aspect to the site. Everything was clean and in order, owner was quick to respond to anything we conveyed to them, and it was lovely being the only ones staying at the house at the time.
