We stayed for 6 nights while our daughters took a ballet intensive in Cambridge. Short drive to Cambridge. Townhouse was super close to everything. Back yard was super cute with nice deck. Would definitely stay here again if coming back to the area.
This home was conveniently located within ten minutes of Cambridge. Plenty of space was available for our party of four both inside and in the private backyard. Window air conditioners allowed for individualized temperature control. Our son enjoyed having the third floor to himself. One bathroom could be tricky at times, but we were able to work it out. Some noise at night, so it would help to bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. Owner was helpful and provided immediate responses. Would suggest a Keurig or coffee maker for guest use. We would definitely stay again!
Annabelly is an excellent host and it was very easy to communicate with her. She responded very quickly to all questions. The place was extremely clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location was ideal for getting into Boston and Cambridge and there was a great walking path nearby along the Charles River. Check-in was very easy and we really enjoyed the outdoor patio!
Weâve stayed at this property twice and both times weâve been happy! The stairs are very steep but definitely manageable. The location is perfect for Boston College (we booked it when visiting) or Uber distance from downtown! Has everything you would need! Loved coffee on the back deck in the mornings! There is a breakfast/lunch diner within a 3 minute walking distance that is a great way to start the day!
Overall our stay was okay. Property was clean and access was fairly easy. Nothing stellar, but nothing unliveable either This property was located in a decent area of town, close enough to downtown backing a car dealership. I would describe this as a duplex, not townhouse. The remodeling described is only surface level. This is an old building with no soundproofing and older building code. The stairs were steep and at an angle (the whole house was settled at an angle as we found a ball would roll across the floor) that we had to be very cautious going up and down. We could hear the neighbours conversations clearly and any movement in the other unit vibrated heavily through our unit. We are not a loud couple, but felt we had to keep quieter as we felt there was less privacy. The neighbours were up at all hours including through the night with children jumping and yelling and made it challenging to get good rest. The property was not stocked well enough for our 5 night stay with 2 adults. We purchased toilet paper and soap to keep us going and were asked to take the garbage to the curb. Overall, we enjoyed our time but felt we couldn't settle in during our stay and relax for the evenings and mornings when we came back from being out.
This is a very plessant home on the outskirts of Watertown. It's a five minute drive to the Mass Pike but also a short walk into Watertown Square, which has great restaurants. The house is well appointed, including a kitchen that we used to cook a lot, and a very comfortable back yard where we soaked up the early Spring sunshine.
This was a great location for our trip to Boston. Super easy to get in and out of town from and there was room for each of our kids to stay comfortably. I would suggest a few more items for the kitchen as it was not as stocked as I would have expected. Otherwise, it was wonderful.
Very nice, well maintained apartment in a convenient location. Our friends were quite happy while staying there several weeks helping a family member in the area. Owner very responsive when any issues arose. Neighbors are respectful and friendly.
Our family of four enjoyed a very comfortable stay while visiting relatives near Watertown. The beds were comfortable and everything worked well. Our host responded to any questions very promptly. The place is a few minutesâ walking distance to restaurants and a drug store, and a nice walk along the River. Itâs near a busy street and was noisy in the weekday morning but earplugs can cover that. Recommended!
Owner very pleasant & professional for check-in etc. Vey clean apartment inside. Very conveniently located within ~1 mile of I-90 approach, easy access to Cambridge, Boston & surrounding towns but with easier street layout and less hectic traffic in Watertown than some of the other neighborhoods. Can hear a little bit of family in adjacent condo but not too loud. Small bit adequate bathroom. Off-street parking is sufficient. Backyard w patio table neatly maintained. Full kitchen, full-sized
washer/dryer, mattresses firm.
Spotless, very comfy, newly renovated, and they thought of every detail. (There is even weatherstripping on the doors for those Boston winters!) Immediate communication. First-rate in all respects. Very good location. Tip top.
Stayed for 4 days in June with our family of 6. Clean, comfortable, great location, comfy beds. The host was helpful and prompt in reply. The only downside was the 3rd floor a/c wasn't working well so it was like a sauna up there, but we did come in record breaking heat for Boston. I don't imagine it's usually an issue. Also, the steep stairs might be tricky with toddlers, but our kids were older so it was fine. We even enjoyed the backyard playing cards on the back porch by the grass. Very happy overall with our stay!
The listing was just as stated on the website. The host was helpful and kind and made check-in seamless. It was very clean! Very comfortable and cute place to stay. Room for our family to spread out but also enjoy time together in the living area and outside in the back yard. Great stay, a little ways out of Boston.
