Blokhutten in Boothbay Harbor

'We enjoyed our 2 nights and slept well. Thank you!!'

'The location was a 10 minute drive from Boothbay and the rooms were newly renovated and very cute. But some of the furniture was coming apart during normal use. Biggest concerns were as follows:1. Very poor communication from host. They didn't provide us with entry information until the morning of, and didn't answer our messages. We ended up calling VRBO the night before as we were scared from the lack of contact. They got ahold of the host who finally answered us the night before arrival. At...

'The cottage was great but the check-in was very stressful. Owner did not send email with info until Saturday morning and it went to my Spam folder. No one was on site when I first got there but someone working in the garden got hold of the owner and let me in. Website says check-in was after 3PM but owner said it was 5PM. Needs to update that on website. After a10-hour drive I was not happy.'

Communication was good at 1st stating I would get a full refund and then crickets… my husband and I, literally, got...

'Very quiet, clean, and comfortable accomodations. We enjoyed our stay very much!'

'Wicked awesome!'

The refrigerator drained the battery for the generator, so we couldn't use it reliably. We are experienced backwoods campers, so if we had known all of this, we would have brought our own cookset, and food that did not require refrigeration. Otherwise, it was fun for us to experience "glamping." Aaron was very responsive to messages and eager to help with...
