'We loved this off-the-beaten-path, classic bed & breakfast a few minutes from Brattleboro on the old stagecoach route. Our view over the pond was stunning, and the breakfast was fresh and ample. The room was quiet, and the bed was very comfortable. My only suggestion would be to bring a small travel light if you would like to read a book in bed, as our room had soft, mellow lighting. '

'At first it was difficult to get in touch with the owners, as the number listed on some sights is the older number. Once I did they were wonderful. They took their time to think of everything to make your stay comfortable. So many little details! The town is so lovely - old victorian style and the house is walkable to a few restaurants. Great to have a mini kitchen available to use, with a big fridge to store items, while also a mini fridge in the room. Look forward to staying here again next...

'We loved our stay at the lodge. We had two couples and kids ranging in age from 2 to 12. We did lots of skiing at Bromley but loved having Manchester so close to explore. The pinball arcade was a great rainy day activity for kids! The house was amazing and bigger than we imagined, we were all extremely comfortable. The only thing to mention is the stairs and upstairs loft are a bit scary for little ones. We blocked them with a baby gate and didn’t let the two year old up there, but it was fine...

'My family and I had a great stay at the Skylight Lodge. It is very different from other rentals, being a former inn. There is plenty of space for a big group and the two master suites are great.
