You'll love your stay at 'Trails End' cabin!

Cozy two bedroom, one bathroom cabin is perfect for a romantic getaway or a family vacation. Master bedroom has a queen size bed and the second bedroom has two twin beds. The lower deck has a newly added outdoor dining table and conversation area. Spend the day hiking the Benton-Makaye trail, enjoy roasting marshmallows around the fire pit, or fishing at Lake Cherry Log. Take the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway train to Copper Hill, Tennessee or explore the many nearby apple orchards, antique shopping, fine dining, micro breweries, or zip lining! The cabin is 2.6 miles off Highway 515 ( 8 minute drive) making it convenient to downtown Blue Ridge.

COVID-19 has been a time of uncertainty for many. We at Trails End Cabin are taking steps to ensure the cabin is clean and sanitary. After every guest the cabin is sprayed with Lysol and cleaned with bleach. The linens are washed with Lysol Sanitizing Wash. There is a can of Lysol in the cabinet for use, please leave for the following guest.

**We retain the right to close at any time if ordered to do so by the state or county officials or we feel the situation warrants it. We will fully refund any rents effected should this occur. Any visitor booking will hold harmless the owner of the property, staff or vacation rental related entity and wave the right to sue the owners for any Covid-19 related issues.

This cabin was absolutely perfect for my needs. When I arrived it was spotless and ready for my stay as well as had everything I Needed to be my home away from home for the week. The only reason it’s not a 5 star review is the parking situation and steep driveway. I have a full sized truck so it was hard to get turned around and without 4wd I’m not sure I could have gotten out. So if you stay a 2 vehicle max would be it. Otherwise it’s a gorgeous cabin and one of the cleanest I’ve ever stayed in anywhere
The surrounding area is gorgeous at every turn.

The cabin was very clean and smelled so fresh. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The roads were a little rough definitely can't take a big truck (we were in a f350 dually) because there is no place to turn around. But we would definitely go back.

Exactly like it is described in the listing. Very cozy and everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Water gets nice and hot! Excellent washer dryer, stocked kitchen and lovely porch. I would stay again.

Cabin could have been very nice, directions to the cabin were not good. the cabin was hard to get to. Cabin had a musty smell to it. We aired it out and that helped. Grounds were overgrown. We were a little disappointed. Fireplace was capped off while we were there. Scheduled to be opened Oct1. Inside the cabin was clean , no issues. Outside and grounds needed some work

Great Cabin!

We loved this cabin! It's exactly what you want when you go to the mountains. The view from the living area was perfect. It's wooded and steep. We also really enjoyed the grill. The kids loved the little loft area and read books up there each day. The porches are awesome. We did not use the firepit because it was such a short stay, but when we return we do plan to. My only wish is that the primary bed was more comfortable, but that wasn't a big enough deal to keep us from coming back!

4 night stay turned into 1 night stay

Yes the property stated pet friendly, HOWEVER, the smell of animal urine greeted us upon entry and never went away. We sneezed, coughed, itched, even skin welted really bad, even after opening windows and spraying our OWN can of Lysol on the furniture, beds, bathroom, curtains, even floors. Animal hairs and dander were present as we took photos. I believe the smell was imbedded in the wooden floorboard as the smell of animal urine remained. The house didn’t have good ventilation as it was so stuffy and it smelt stale also. NOW I have stayed in other places that are pet friendly and there was no way you’re able to tell animals were there at all. We reached out to the owner asking for a refund OR some type of accommodation to place us in another cabin explaining our reason why. We were told “sorry, it stated pet friendly on the site and I’m not in the habit of accommodating customers to another cabin and housekeeping cleaned it a week ago. Good luck in the future.” I get it states pet friendly on the site, however it was not fully clean as we also bleach wiped the restroom. Obviously housekeeping did not do their job well cleaning. We never took our belongings inside ONLY took in our cleaning products. There was no way we could have remained there all those days with the smell and our body reactions from it. We slept in car overnight and checked out the next morning. I felt that the owners response was careless as long as she got her money. NEVER AGAIN!!

Quiet and Comfy!

This house was wonderful and the drive up and down was a blast!! It was perfect for what we needed, it even had a well which made it even better!! The view was amazing, the decks were perfect and if we make it back to Blue Ridge, I will rent it again in a heart beat. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us, it really is lovely!!

Quiet cabin

What a great place to unplug & relax. It was the perfect size for my husband & me. Our dog loved it too. The outdoor patio's were a great place to sit with a coffee in the morning or a drink in the evening. We loved the quiet!
