'Great comfort, most friendly staff, beautiful views over the fields and sea. The Castle is on a beautiful wat converted into a luxoruous hotel with keeping a Castle feeling. Everything was just exceeding expectations. We had a wonderul time, with nice walks and sightseeing in the area. We will return again if we are in Wales on holidays.'

'We had a lovely stay here! Our travel plans were disrupted so we arrived very late in to the night, everything was left out for us and even late checkout was arranged for us. The staff were lovely and very accommodating. Room was so cosy and warm and the location was beautiful! 15/10.'

'The staff were very friendly, the room was clean and comfortable although the bathroom was a little dated but everything functioned well, we had an evening meal which was excellent and the breakfast was cooked to order and wholesome one of the best breakfasts enjoyed. We only stayed one night on our way to Ireland convenient for ferry port of Fishguard.'

'I chose this hotel for its proximity to the railway station. It's a pleasant place, albeit not for those with mobility issues. Welcoming, with a friendly bar serving real ale (a plus for me). My room was comforable and I had no complaints about the facilities. A good Welsh breakfast.'

'We absolutely lucked out with this gem. The host, Mark, is hilarious, helpful and super kind. We really enjoyed room 8 with all the thoughtful extras. Our room had great linens and towels, tons of pillows, amazing light with double doors we could leave open and the bathroom was great with the most excellent of water pressure. They made us breakfast every morning which was nice. We took a 15 min walk and were at water’s edge. The town was lovely with good pubs. Thank you, Mark!!'

'Covid friendly stay with all rules followed to ensure safety of guests. Friendly staff and lovely breakfast. Local beers on sale in the bar are worth a go. Set off the beaten track so you'll need a car to get about but Newport well worth a visit as was lower Fishguard.'

'We absolutely love the location, it is extremely peaceful, the scenery is stunning and so perfect location for visiting Whitesands, St. David’s, Newgale and Solva. The accommodation is spotlessly clean and well equipped with a private garden and patio area. Turn left out of the entrance door and you’re along the costal path. We have been staying with Mrs Murphy for the last 24 years, we leave after a week’s stay feeling refreshed and energised and will be booking for next year.'

'We had a very relaxing stay in this little corner of serenity. The Shepherd's hut was beautifully created and felt very private with its own outdoor area, hammock and firepit. Our hosts were perfect, nothing was a problem and our pooch really enjoyed it too. Would definitely recommend.'

'We really enjoyed our stay with The Castle Inn! The team were very welcoming to us and our dogs, the rooms were well presented, clean and comfortable. There is a good selection of local drinks available and the food selection and quality was outstanding! The little things really stood out too, such as the “Hungry Dawg” menu for the four-legged ones, a well presented beer garden for the warmer months and a beautiful restaurant. We will definitely be staying here again when we next visit west...
