The area surrounding Bisserup Strand offers many opportunities for excursions. The historic town of Korsør is not far away. A walk along the harbour promenade or a visit to the old fortress is always worthwhile. If you fancy a little more adventure, you can cross the impressive Great Belt Bridge to reach the island of Funen and the charming town of Odense, known as the birthplace of the fairytale poet Hans Christian Andersen.
