'Nice cabin away from everything. Wish there was wifi but if you want to disconnect from the wood this is the place. Only downfall wasn't as close to the lake as I'd had hoped but overall nice property owner very clean and nice cabin. Many board games to play to stay entertained'

'Overall, this property is exactly as listed. It’s in a great location. The only issues we had were lack of toilet paper and paper towels and the cleanliness of the hot tub and back deck. There is a lack of water pressure in the shower. Nathan was very responsive when we contacted him. He is a new owner of this property, so hopefully this review will help him address easily corrected issues.'

'We stayed for 2 days. Brought steaks and other goodies to grill. We enjoyed the view from the deck. We refilled the hummingbird feeder and enjoyed the many visitors. We've never heard a hummingbird chirp! It was a nice quiet getaway to reset and recharge. We'll be back next time we want a quiet getaway.'

'It’s a good thing they invented GPS, or we would have never found White Oaks Cabins. It’s located off some back country roads in a very peaceful and serene area, far removed from the stereotypes of Indiana flatness. 'We were extremely happy with this rental - the cabin was clean and the giant screened in front porch with three big nice rocking chairs was perfect and where we spent much of our time. The sheets and blankets were of higher quality than usually see at cabin rentals and this made everyone have really great nights of sleep! The location is gorgeous with beautiful hills and nature around. The owner was extremely communicative and responsive. We will definitely stay again if in the area, loved it!'

'We typically stay in Ferdinand every year for a family reunion. We weren't able to stay at our normal place this year and found this on a whim. It was absolutely perfect. My mother was with us and I had a recent knee injury. Everything was easy in and out, the layout was also convenient. It is certainly in an area that we call God's Country, but the STARS you see at night are worth it! Amazing. The cozy porch was perfect for star gazing or morning coffee.
