Zeer goed NH hotel in een hele mooie stad
Bilbao is een prachtige stad. Het NH hotel voldoet volledig aan de verwachting. Een goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. Een goede bereikbare ligging in een mooie straat.

Uitstekend hotel
Goed hotel met uitstekende kamers. 10 minuten lopen van zowel oude stad als Guggenheim Museum. Er is n goede koffiebar op 50 meter afstand voor ontbijt als je geen gebruik wilt maken van ontbijtbuffet in hotel. Als de hotelgarage vol is kun je vlakbij parkeren in de parkeergarage van het congrescentrum. Het hotel zorgt voor n kortingskaart

Fijn hotel op een handige locatie
Hotel ligt aan de Gran Via met om de hoek een tramnalte en een metrohalte. Oude stad en Guggenheim museum liggen op loopafstand. Kamers zijn schoon en netjes ingericht. Personeel is aardig. Kortom een aanrader. Adres voor een lekker en goedkoop ontbijt is Plaza, een tentje dat zo goed als naast het hotel ligt.

Zeer goede prijs - kwaliteit verhouding. Uitstekend en uitgebreid ontbijt. Keurige, rustige kamer en zeer vriendelijk personeel. In en uitchecken ging vlot. Diverse uitstekende eet-en drinkgelegenheden op loopafstand. Oude stad is iets verder, circa 30 minuten, lopen maar openbaar vevoer en taxi zijn ruim voorhanden.

Op 10 min lopen van het guggenheim en 15 min van het oude centrum,ga zeker eten aan de overkant bij “hymalaja”. En huur een auto en verken de omgeving,echt de moeite waard.

Geweldig hotel
Het hotel ligt aan de Gran Via, als je deze afloopt kom je rechtstreeks in het centrum. Prima ligging. Zeer modern ingericht. Laminaat op de kamers ( kan wat geluidsoverlast geven, maar dat ligt aan de medegasten op de andere kamers wat ze aan hun voeten dragen). Wij lagen aan de achterzijde ( rustige ligging) geen fijn uitzicht, maar daar gaan wij niet voor naar een hotel. In de stad is genoeg te bekijken. Ligt vlakbij een prachtig park, als je deze doorloopt ligt aan de andere kant van het park het Gügenheim museum. Voor de voetballiefhebbers: Links de hoek om en de straat zo'n 600/800 meter uitlopen dan ligt aan de rechterkant het voetbalstadion van Bilbao, wanneer je wat verder doorloopt bij het stadion kom je bij het busstation. Lopend allemaal goed te doen.

Teleurstellend uitzicht op een blinde muur
Bij het reserveren wordt er niets gemeld over uitzicht op een blinde muur, na inchecken kan je tegen bijbetaling een andere kamer krijgen. Nog geluk gehad dat we hoog zitten, een paar etages lager en het is nog donker ook.

Goede verhouding kwaliteit tov prijs.
Ruime kamers en ook badkamer, apart toilet is goed meegenomen. Spijtig dat er geen enkele 'buiten' aan het Hotel is, geen terrassen geen tuin. Het ontbijt was goed en gevarieerd maar echte kwaliteitsproducten, ook uit eigen streek, ontbreken.

A modern hotel with old problems is the shower leaked, no wash cloths, and they could not understand what a wash cloth was. Birds flying around the indoor dining area. They had a nice breakfast, but Jesus who made the omelettes did not like Americans and pretty much told you so.

Fantastic hotel; great location for getting around
Amazing stay during Aste Nagusia which we were able to enjoy but escape from to recharge. Excellent location for public transport (tram stop 200m and numerous nearby bus stops, including airport bus). San Mames stadium also only a short (10-15 minute walk). Requested connecting rooms in advance and the hotel was very accommodating. Rooms spacious, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast expensive so we didn't take this option as there are many nearby cafes and pasteleries at a fraction of the price. Was absolutely recommend and would stay here again if we return to Bilbao.

Muy buen hotel
Gran servicio del personal. Los detalles muy cuidados, se nota la etiqueta " collection". Muy buen desayuno y gran gimnasio. Cierto es que que el hotel está un pelin antiguo y el diselo en general de los muebles empieza a dar toques de estar "rancio". En cualquier caso, sin duda recomendable.

The check in was excellent with a very helpful receptionist (on Sunday pm). The air con was dripping water into the room in the night which caused a wet slippy pool of water that was dangerous. The bath needed new silicone as it was mouldy.

The hotel is not bad. The furniture in the room was old. The fabric of the seat was torn. Cleaning was good. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Especially the breakfast was above my expectation. I recommend this hotel.

There was black mold in the cracks between the tiles in the shower. On the other hand, the included breakfast buffet was off all measurable charts. I might go back just for the buffet! The cooked-to-order eggs were stunning (we had an omelette, scrambled and over easy). The cheeses and Iberico ham were top-notch. Had it not been included, I would readily pay 25€ for that breakfast…
