« The hotel was stunning and the staff are very helpful and pleasant. The location is beautiful and ideal for walking in to town centre. The food was very nice, I can’t critique anything about the hotel, staff or service. I gave the amenities 3/5 only because we didn’t stay long enough to use them. »

« It was too cold in this hotel, the heater started at 5 pm and stopped around 9 pm. And then from 6 am until 9 or 10 am, so it wasn't enough for this kind of room in a this kind of hotel with bad insullation, only a simple glass window. The maximum temperature was 14°C. I sleept with pullover !!! And particulary in the shower room with only 12 to 14 °C I will never be in this hotel. »

« The rooms are central, so that is a plus, but apart from that I found the rooms overpriced for what you got, self service checkin, no staff, and the one person I spoke to on the phone was actually rude. Rooms are not cleaned at all during a multi day stay, Parking is not easy as the car park next door fills up quickly, not suitable for anyone who has mobility issues. Would I stay their again, no! »

« Très confortable. Un restaurant agréable à coté. Seule problème (pour l’hôtel, pas pour moi) une fuite à la salle de bains avec un gaspillage de l'eau chaude. Ce qui j'ai reporté à l'accueil. AWM . »

« Grande chambre spacieuse, bien équipée, wifi. Grand parking pas de problème pour trouver une place. Grand choix pour le petit-déjeuner. Si la chambre donne sur la route il peut y avoir un peu de bruit car passante à vitesse assez élevée. »

« We had a lovely stay. Our room was perfect for us….lovely comfy bed and a small courtyard where we had dinner delivered! We were lucky that the weather was very warm too. Our dogs were very happy and calm and safe there . I would happily recommend this room (2) for anyone travelling with dogs. Thank you Wynnstay and staff, you made our trip really comfortable. »

« Liked the garden, but it needs a little C&A... Disabled car parking near to our room (No.5) was an excellent bonus. Breakfast was excellent but a bit expensive. Staff were all very courtious and helpful. Direct booking rather than via an agency is preferred. We will certainly be recomending the Lion to our friends and relations and using you again next time we are in the area. « Accommodation is fine. Breakfast menu is a selection of fried, unhealthy or coated in butter. Needs to be better to compete with other local providers »

« We had the perfect stay. The Owls Nest was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. From the comfy bed, hot tub and the Webber bbq all made it so relaxing. Dog friendly which was a bonus. Jenny & Margaret were great hosts. We appreciated the special touches. We had such a lovely time that booked to go again before we left. Highly recommended. »
