'The lean to and surrounding property looked fantastic on the listing, but it was even better than we anticipated. This place had everything we needed to make our stay fun and enjoyable. We stayed for five days and it went by too fast. We hope to come back again.'

'We stayed at the lodge in July. We brought our own kayaks and left at the shoreline. We had a couple excursions paddling past the locks one day, and the next day to to the island in Kiwassa Lake for lunch, fishing and a swim.Location is close enough to walk into town for dinner and shopping. My husband enjoyed a rainbow trout at the RiverTrail beer works. Host was on property and available to help us.'

'Cabin on the lake with a hot tub was exactly what we were looking for. This place checked all the boxes, had everything you needed and was convenient to all the Saranac Lake area attractions. Host was super friendly and helpful in giving recommendations around the area. Would highly recommend this spot for any couple.'

'This is a great property and a great location, lovely view. The kids loved playing on the porch and enjoyed the toys and books that were there! We didn't use the kitchen much but it seemed well stocked, the house had everything we needed! The only slightly critical thing I would say is that we did get strong wiffs of dog every now and then, but not the end of the world. 'In town for the Lake Placid Ironman competition. Anyplace south of Lake Placid would have been a challenge getting around due to the road closures. Locations north of town (Saranac Lake) were smooth sailing. Great place to stay for such a memorable event.'
