'I wasn’t expecting anything fancy because it’s a cheap motel. I could get over the fact that the place was sketchy. The walls were peeling and damaged, the place reeked of cigarettes, and there was dirt all over the floor. What I could not get over was that on one bed, there was blood stains on the sheets and unidentified stains all over the side. On the other bed, there were burnt holes into the sheets, like from a cigarette or a lighter, and there was obvious water damage with mold on the...

'Nice clean room. Excellent location for our needs. Nice tavern on site. The only downside was that the room was just above the kitchen exhaust, and the smell in the room wasn't the greatest. I don't know if other rooms had this same issue.'

'While the interior space is limited, it is super clean and well-stocked. The hot tub, outdoor sauna, and indoor steam shower are awesome, and it was so peaceful to spend time in the hot tub with the snow coming down. Hosts were great, very accommodating and communicative. 'This is a classic old-style cabin that reminded us of our childhood family trips in the 60’s. It’s not new, but a heck of a lot of fun if you’re in the right head space. Easily walked to town for dinner and to the shore. Clean and had everything we needed.'
