'The design and coziness of this location was exactly what we were looking for when planning a quick extended weekend away from home. Pocket lake is beautiful and we loved the lake view. Only 15-20 minutes away from most major hikes and restaurants in Alex made it really easy to have this be our "home base" for many fun excursions. '

'The house and property were perfect! The view of the lake, quiet neighborhood, and spacious home were excellent for our family. The house was clean and the owner was very courteous. There is a park on the opposite side of the lake which has an awesome playground for kids and easy to walk trails for the entire family. I hope to have an opportunity to return in the future!'

'Lovely, cozy vibe. Kids enjoyed the ping pong table, bunks and a variety of the other board games in addition to the massive movie theater room. Plenty of towels and spacious for the family & friends to gather. No dishwasher wasn't a deal breaker as the kitchen sink was large and plenty of space to drip-dry items. Water was nice and HOT. Host was fast to reply & easy to communicate with. Stayed right after season's first snowfall, so can imaging how beautiful it would b in the height of summer...
