« The property was beautiful inside and out. Lots of spaces for gathering. Made good use of the kayaks and paddle boards. The lake is so calm and serene. The kitchen works well for a crowd, but could be better stocked and organized. Our family had the best time and would definitely go back! »

« This place was a fantastic little escape to the country for my family and our friends. The space was open and inviting and well stocked with everything we needed for a two night stay. I will say we had to take some extra measures for our two year old to be as least destructive as possible, but then again, is there really any space safe from a chaotic two year old? Regardless, wonderful experience! »

« My two young sons and I had a very nice visit to The Boathouse. The lake is well used but not busy and the water is calm. We spent our time on the kayaks, fishing from the dock, and on land with a fire to warm up the cool summer evenings. The Boathouse is well-kept, comfortable, and charming and the hosts are delightful and generous. The drive into the twin cities is very easy. I would definitely recommend. »

« Great location on the lake with an incredible amount of activities to do on site. Lots of room and everything you could need is provided! Greats spots to also sit and relax and take in the scenery. We enjoyed the location very much for our family vacation. »

« Stayed here for one night as we passed through on a road trip. Great value place with three bedrooms. Clean and comfortable. The AC devices with will for the living room able the main bedroom. Other bedrooms are a bit warm. But the fans worked well enough. I'd stay here again! »

It’s also conveniently located, within a few blocks of campus, the Weitz Center, or downtown....

« This is a great family vacation destination! We were looking forward to kayaking. I expected only two kayaks. What a surprise to find six kayaks available for our use! We spent many hours kayaking, not to mention spending time in this beautiful house. I highly recommend this property. »
