'The room (#7) was on the upper floor and had views of the beach to the lighthouse. It was good value, well maintained, had a comfortable bed and general amenities for a pleasant stay. We stayed three nights, and will definitely stay there again on our next trip to Geraldton.'

'When told the receptionist at the counter about the tissue paper box was empty and need to replenish, they told us that we are checking out the next day so no action taken.'

'A lovely, helpful lady greeted us. It's an older-style backpackers' accommodation with great kitchen facilities. However, don't do what I did and put everything in the kitchen. At midnight, I needed a bottle for my one-year-old and didn't realize the kitchen would be closed. Thankfully, my baby was content with strawberry milk. There's a first time for everything. We'll definitely be back in the future.'

'Evening meal at Bob’s Boutique Bar was sensational, we shared several courses with quality ingredients and chef assembled. Blackboard menu you need to see on site, not on website. But very comprehensive. Birthday gifts given on the night a nice thoughtful touch. Left my phone behind but safely stored ready for me to wake up! Safe upper level parking. Great location in centre of town.'

'There were roaches all around the house. And the carpets had terrible smell. The kitchen was well equipped.'

'The smell of paint or terpentine was very storing in our room. It's nice to have a paint job but the rooms should not be appointed to customers.'

'An absolutely amazing place and it was a great pleasure to have been able to stay here especially with my dog. I enjoyed learning about the building and the incredible man who had foresight to come to Australia and create many special houses. Whilst staying at the Hermitage we dined at The Emerald restaurant just across the road. If you get a chance go and enjoy their delicious menu.'

'Great little house with parking secured behind gates enough for a few cars to fit in. Beautifully styled and the kitchen had all the staples which is very convenient. The only thing that I can think for an improvement would be a dryer and maybe a fold away dryer/airer. It rained nearly the whole time we were there so that would have been more convenient than the rack in the bathroom but that is a very minor issue. Big thumbs up would book again.'

'Hotel ligt aan de weg maar is toch rustig. Motel mag vernieuwd worden maar bedden en douche zijn prima. Prima voor als je op doorreis bent.'
