« On entry of the Hex Hotel the car park is a short distance from the hotel entrance, there is no drop off point immediately outside the reception area, eg - if it was raining your items would be quite if not not entirely soaked. My advice is to park up first, sign in at the Hotel Reception and then collect a porters trolley for your luggage from the reception area. « Had no choice but to book a room on the first floor that was meant for people who need "assistance". Room had zero charm at all and I felt like I was in a hospital especially in the bathroom.
On top of that it was full of golfers who made a lot of noise.

« We have stayed here many times and generally itâs been very good, however on this occasion things were not on song, our first night the room was very noisy as a function was taking place and loud disco music until 1am, please avoid room 106. I did voice my complaint and reception staff moved us to a different room much better nights sleep second night.
Reference to room 106, bed not comfortable and very low, bathroom was cold towel rail not heating up and loo seat falls down as wonât stay up....

« So terrible we walked in and walked out again, drove around to find a different hotel!
This hotel gave me the creeps, like something out of a horror movie with an American hostel feel.
We arrived late (10 ish pm) and despite the hotel being quite quiet our room was given to us and was one of the last rooms down a long dark corridor at the back of the building.
I was travelling alone with my young daughter and couldnt understand why we were put so far away from civilisation. Something felt...
