'We had a wonderful stay at the Ramada Hotel in Nouméa. Our room was spacious and had everything our family of four needed. The kitchenette was a huge bonus, allowing us to prepare some of our own meals and keep costs down during our holiday.
The room was clean on arrival, with fresh, comfortable linen. We were aware before arriving that housekeeping is provided on request rather than automatically, and it was easy to organise whenever we needed it.

'The reception staff were very friendly and efficient. They spoke English well and were able to help with our enquiries. The one bedroom apartment was clean, comfortable and spacious with an ocean view. It had a kitchenette with cooking facilities and a good sized fridge. A couple of the restaurant spaces were undergoing renovation which unfortunately limited our food options but there are many choices just down the road only 10 mins walk away.'

'The location is nice if you want to spend time in Noumea, but it is a longer drive to get out of the centre. During the weekends, there is a lot of noise from the surrounding area (bars), till 23:00 or even midnight.
It was unclear at the time of booking, that there was no cleaning service offered. I was given 1 roll of toilet paper only! WiFi was free for only one day. Rubbish was not collected from the room. Much noise from the corridors. I had a cockroach in the room. The room itself was...

'Great location and the rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Having a kitchen and laundry in the rooms is very helpful. The shops underneath the hotel are great and there is a park across the road which the kids enjoyed.'

'Nice older style resort, operated by the local families, right on the beach with a very clean pool area, unfortunately for us the weather was not suited to swim at the beach but it was lovely to do long walks on! We had an ocean view bungalow which had a huge bathroom area. Had a delicious buffet dinner one of the nights.
Could do with some maintenance and a lick of paint in areas but would stay again…..'
