'Came to Pierre from Yankton SD to celebrate my oldest son's birthday. We were able to cook and have the family together in a very nice setting. Location is great for getting whatever you need while you are there. If you are looking for perfection, it's not for you (it's not a brand new house). But it was great for us, very comfortable and enjoyable. And the host couldn't have been nicer. I suggest calling him if you reserve it, some kind of breakdown between him and the VRBO site.'

'We recently stayed here for the TBF Junior World Finals, and this house could not have been more perfect! It was extremely clean from top to bottom, and we immediately felt comfortable and at home.We cooked a lot during our stay, and the kitchen had everything we needed—all the dishes, utensils, and cookware—plus a grill for easy meals. 'Cox Eye Lodging was a great place to stay for our family fishing trip! It had everything we needed to feel comfortable. We were even able to play some corn hole and take advantage of the grill after a long day of fishing!'

'Overall I liked it. It’s private and has plenty of space to park our pickup and boat. Very close to the boat dock and a nice restaurant.It can get windy there, but pretty normal for that area. I would like to see a little more seating inside such as another chair or couch, and possibly a TV, although we were fine without it. Overall a cool place to stay.'

'very roomy and comfortable house with nice decks to enjoy the evening South Dakota air. Plenty of beds, and the kitchen has plenty of pots, pans, and utensils. The kids loved the playhouse and the games in the garage. Hope to be back again next year.'

'Nice little place with modern appliances, a good shower head, Roku TV, clean, and very well stocked. I arrived on 12/23/23 to a wreath on the door and a lighted and decorated Christmas tree in the living room. We had a blizzard and got snowed in the day after Christmas. Stan, the owner, sent a guy over to shovel out the driveway. He also brought a new shovel to leave at the property which I soon put to use after the snowplows came by and blocked the driveway.
