'Happy with hotel in every respect, except that there weren’t many good restaurants in the near vicinity of the hotel. ‘Cooking Yu’ (Chinese) was an exception and we had a great meal there. Fratelli (Italian) at the end of the street was also nice but was very small and the night we went had ‘run out of pasta’, so we had to have pizzas.'

It's very noisy, poorly insulated (despite double glass everywhere) and there were ants crawling all over our first room there. We were moved to the top floor directly, which was a big improvement, but overall the hotel really disappointed. The top floor room surprisingly never got properly warm. 'The property is brand new so some listed amenities like laundry weren’t installed yet. Having a kitchen and 3 grocery stores near by, transportation to downtown and a bike rental station nearby was great. We rode the bikes every day through the English Garden into the city. It was a quick, easy inexpensive way to get around. Rooms were on the warm side and I couldn’t find a source of air so open window a lot but not child safe. '

'The location of this property is excellent. It is well equipped and communication prior to check in and after was good, albeit by email only. We (a family of five) stayed for 4 nights. We used the two sofa beds which are adequate for kids but not unsuitable, in my opinion, for adults due to the thinness of the mattress and creaking with every movement. 'We stayed in the family room which exceeded our expectations! Everything has been thought of from washing up liquid, tea bags, cutlery, kitchen roll, shampoo, shower gel, conditioner. The accommodation was immaculate with really good quality bedding and furnishings. Couldn't find fault with the accomodation. One recommendation would be a not slip mat in the shower as the tiles were quite slippery when wet and being a family room with children, this could be an issue. We used a towel so it was...
