« We were greeted at the door by our host. The appearance of the outside held dear the secret of the interior. The opulence and style. Every detail of our extremely clean room was taken into consideration. There were complimentary snacks and drinks of all kinds. Most places just give you sample soaps but beyond that they had q-tips, eye drops, ect... Every possible need was looked out for. The bed was great and the pillows even better and in abundance. These are the hosts with the most. »

« We came to hike so was great location-relatively short drives to copper harbor, eagle harbor, McLain State park, falls etc.. calumet area has options for dining, groceries etc so you don’t have to drive to Houghton, unless desired. Apartment was clean, relaxing and nicely decorated. Would stay again!! »

« Place was very clean, comfortable and well appointed. Location is a tiny bit off the path, but definitely close to the food and entertainment parts of the area. Outside appearance upon arrival is a bit deceiving, as the cabin is in a semi-industrial area, but the riverfront area behind the building is very nice. Would definitely return. »

« This is the perfect location for anyone looking to explore the northern part of the UP. The property is beautiful, secluded, and calming. Ever amenity you could ask for is included. They even have a great sauna with an attached room that includes a TV and small bar area. They view of the lake is magnificent and watching the sunrise over it makes it even more breathtaking. Located halfway between L'Anse and Copper Harbor, the location offers extremely convenient access to dozens of trails and...

« Nice place, I had the one bedroom unit. Basic room, but clean and well maintained. Kitchen is basic but essentials are there. Quiet, somewhat secluded area, but very safe. Only 10 minutes from MTU, so very convenient.Host is very responsive.Great alternative for hotels, especially when they are full.Would definitely recommend. »

« The apartment was a great base camp for our travels in the upper pennisula. Beds were comfortable and shower was nice. I do agree with another review about the bathtub being slippery when taking a shower. We bought a bath mat which helped tremendously. »
