Booking this type of accomodation we expected some bugs but this was hundreds of bugs, and being stung and biten all night, so we got very little actual sleep. 'Verblijf in Rancho de Lelo was een enorm hoogtepunt van onze reis naar Costa Rica. Wat onderscheidt zich vooral is de familie's gastvrijheid! De hutten zijn nieuw en voorzien van alles wat je nodig hebt. Comfortabel en schoon en een prachtig uitzicht. Het restaurant is ook uitstekend. Zo vers, eenvoudig en heerlijk en op bestelling gemaakt. Beatriz voorzag ons van goede tips voor activiteiten en restaurants en goede aanwijzingen. Ze zijn zo'n leuke en liefdevolle familie! '

'We stopped in Puntarenas on our way back from the west coast to San Juan. Unless you are curious to see all of Costa Rica, there is not much at all in this area. It's a filthy, poor area with little to offer, even though it is so close to the beach. The hotel is kind of old and tired with an unclean looking pool. Food is mediocre at best.
