« Perfect for our family with small kids! The views and access to the river are amazing. It’s very centrally located as well. The children loved the rafters each day and the well stocked books, games, and play space. The house was well stocked and had ample space for storage of food and luggage. Host was very responsive and took great care with the amenities. Coffee pot and an additional Keurig were perfect for our family breakfasts of decaf and full-caf drinkers. This is our 3rd trip to Juneau...

« The check-in was seamless, kitchen immaculate (as was the whole property), and the sauna was so wonderful, especially after long days of biking and sightseeing. And the views!!!! So many eagles are nesting around here that it’s a daily show—watching them and the shorebirds interact with the extreme tidal changes is exciting in itself! Quiet and comfortable… Most people will want a car to get here, but we used a taxi for our arrival and departure and bikes (30 min one-way to town) and walking...

« We really enjoyed this quiet green oasis in Mendenhall Valley. Our favorite part was being right next to the Brotherhood Bridge Trail -- you really do walk right over that tiny bridge in the picture, and are right on the trails. Our toddler loved exploring tiny paths through the woods, as well as the very quiet neighborhood playground that was only a minute's walk through the trees. We loved enjoying our coffee on the porch. « Shangri-La met our needs for a couple days in Juneau. The whole unit is very big. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom is great, and I loved that it had a washer/dryer. The sitting area is just ok but it could use a chair. Also, it was not made clear in the amenities that it does not have a regular stove and oven. It has a double cooktop you need to get out of a drawer and a single burner cooktop. They do not heat up like a regular stove. They do have a pretty big toaster...
