« Clean and pleasant property perfectly situated when visiting areas around Vienna, including the Tunnel Hill State Trail. Property was ready with all amenities, including new appliances, laundry, coffee, tea selection, and more. Hosts are great! Looking forward to my next visit to the area. Be sure to visit Tio's Taqueria a short two blocks away »

« This is an amazing place for a couple or small family to have a first or even small get away or vacation »

« It was just what we needed to be comfortable in the extreme heat we had - plenty of room for our family of 4 and located just right for everything we wanted to do! Julia was great about communication when we had questions. Would definitely stay here again! »

« We had a great stay. Everything was clean and tidy. Loved the easy lake access. Would definitely recommend. »

« We had such an awesome stay at the Shawnee Apple Shack. It was so cute, clean, and had everything that we needed! There was plenty to do in the Southern Illinois area for the weekend. We definitely recommend staying there and would love to come back sometime! »

« Very spacious house and perfect cove for anyone that doesn’t want to be on the main channel. House had a kayak and lily pad which was fun for the kids, and the water in that area is shallow, which is good if you have little ones. House had everything we needed including a grill, baking dishes, etc. »

« Clean room, stocked with useful supplies, comfortable, and oet friendly »

« Rented this unit a few times always a great stay. »

« Very nice house and a very nice lake. »

« Wonderful little cabin to get away from everything and just relax. Loved the screened in back porch. We were able to sit outside while it was raining and enjoy our breakfast. Dead end road so very minimal traffic. »

« Property was great for my family of four. Plenty of room and very clean. We had a great time while staying. »

« Very cozy and clean. The beds are very comfortable, there were plenty of spare linens and towels, a large variety of kitchen items and everything functioned properly. It’s only a minute or two drive to the lake. »

« Beautiful log home. The view of the lake couldn’t be better. Be aware that there are many, many steps to the water, but they are not steep. We are over 70 years old and were able to handle them, although we can feel it in our calves today. It was a plus to have the electric hot water pot. My husband likes his coffee in the morning, but I prefer tea. Perfect for us! »
