'De ligging aan het water was prachtig. Het huisje was in slechte staat, alles was scheef en beschadigd en het zag er vies uit. Het maakt niet uit als iets oud is, als het maar onderhouden en schoon is. Als je over de lichtschakelaars in de badkamer heen gaat verven laat dat zien dat je als eigenaar niet heel veel meer om de locatie geeft.'

'Unfortunately it was cool and rainy during our stay so we didn’t get to use the waterfront but we did enjoy a delicious dinner in the dining room. They had lots of board games available and the room was very comfortable with good internet and lots of tv channels for entertainment.'

'Great place for families as well as others. We had a great room and the restaurant at the lake had good food and excellent staff. We enjoyed the band which was a pleasant surprise. We were a group of 4 retired coupes(long retired) and enjoyed our stay. Short drive to Minden hills and Haliburton towns.'

'very steep stairs leading to rooms. Property is showing signs of wear and tear. We received emails regarding questions of access and connection to after-hours staff after we left!!! The room was clean and well stocked but showed its age. there is a much better option 10 minutes up the road for almost half the price. There are no extra amenities to speak of . Basically, there are only 2 options within the village and thus, this one is overpriced. Stay in Haliburton or Bracebridge instead.'

'The parking was good. The stairs were quite narrow and my wife has mobility issues so she had some trouble going up and down.'

'Traffic on highway 35 was dangerous and loud at times. Cabins were clean and well kept. Staff responded quickly to a minor problem to a window when we reported it.'

'Our room was pretty basic. No balcony, no view. We were disappointed because the pictures were misleading. The air conditioner was noisy and we couldn't turn it down, so we just turned it off. There was an unpleasant smell after flushing the toilet,so we kept the bathroom fan running and the door closed. They advertised a "beach" but they have a different definition of beach than I do. 'We were with a party of 5 and booked a 2 bedroom appartment at Silver Springs Cottage. We were very excited to go there, and our stay was ok, but the rooms were very small and we did not have much space to walk around. The cleanliness of the rooms could have been a little better aswell. '

'Exactly what we were looking for. Very clean, exactly as described with everything you need for basic amenities. Washrooms are outside of the cottage, but not what you’d expect. They’re so clean and cute! Amazing host - Communication great and easy of access into property was perfect. We took bikes so we could ride around and found a nice park close by to tour around. Our son LOVED fashioning off the dock! Overall we had the best experience and can’t wait to do it again. Until next time...
