'This place was absolutely amazing! We drank cheap booze and listened to live music in the saloon! Ate a delicious Breakfast and Dinner at the restaurant! Enjoyed a really cool star party with the professional astronomy and telescope! Swam in the grotto pool! Relaxed in our jacuzzi tub!! It was a really good experience! Two minor problems. 1) everything was a little hard to find and the maps provided weren't very helpful at all... but we managed. 2) I think the bed in the DaVinci suite was...

'This is our second stay at this motel. We love the huge rooms, vintage western ranch decor, friendly staff. Reminds us of the good old days, going back in time. A bit of history. Clean rooms and good air-conditioning in the hot Texas summer. We will be back!'

'Sorry it took me so long to write a review but nevertheless here we are 2 months later and when I think about my birthday experience it still brings smiles too my face. My husband did a great job with this birthday; the staff was wonderful; we loved the golf carts; we loved the cabins. It was such a great experience we can’t wait to do it again. The shopping town was so cute and I can’t wait to go again '

'Absolutely loved our stay at the bluebonnet cottage! Was a perfect oasis for a quiet romantic get away. Only suggestion would to light the trail to the bluebonnet as well as signage for that location like the rest. And steps for the hot tub at the bluebonnet cottage it was really hard to get in and out of. Plan to make it a yearly trip! '

'I don’t mind older hotels and don’t need luxury or fancy stuff but I do like my room clean and that just wasn’t the case here. There were stains on the sheets, the floor was greasy and the bath tub was so worn down I really dreaded taking a shower. We decided not to stay and booked a room across the street; best decision for us. Lady at reception was very friendly though, there sure is potential to make this a nice place to stay but the current state just wasn’t ok for us..'
