I ended up with a sore back and little sleep. Not what I would expect for a $610 bill.'

'We were very pleased with the quick checkin process. The room was spacious, clean and appeared to be recently upgraded. The bed was extremely comfortable and there was no noise in the area during the night. The property is older but well maintained and the price was very good.'

'As we were to visit the Rocky Mountain Rodeo that evening, we booked the Walking Eagle inn and Lodge. A perfect choice. Nice that the bar was in the hotel and we had a good breakfast. Only too bad was that the breakfast did not include Tea or orangejuice as we had to pay extra for that. It was a very good stay.'

'Honestly the staff made the stay. They are in the middle of renovations so no restaurant or liquor store but out the door and less than two minutes you are enjoying a pub or fast food. The staff were phenomenal we were on motorcycles and they let us park in the garage, gave us such a warm welcome, and were overall extremely helpful. Highly recommend staying here if you are in Rocky Mountain House!'

As stated by the host, guests are mainly male workers passing through or working in the area. We were 2 adults and 3 children staying here. When the toilet got plugged at 11pm, he did come and fix it, after arguing with me on the phone. I was then charged for 1 hour which he didn't tell me would be the case.
