'My family stayed one night at Canalta Rocky Mountain House on our vacation travels. I had stayed at this hotel a few years ago and had a good experience. It's a good for families or work travel. It's clean and quiet with a good breakfast included. Options include eggs, sausage, hash browns, pancakes, toast, cereal, yogurt, fruit, tea/coffee/juice. Staff were courteous and helpful. I'd book there again. First floor rooms have direct access from the parking lot.'

'We had basic needs: just a clean room with clean sheets. This is an older hotel, set in an older strip mall. The building has a "much used" feel to it. However, the room was well maintained, the beds were comfortable and the sheets were crisp and clean. The shower worked well, and the air conditioner functioned well too. This is not a family resort hotel, but if you just want a simple clean and comfortable room, this place is certainly adequate!'

'As we were to visit the Rocky Mountain Rodeo that evening, we booked the Walking Eagle inn and Lodge. A perfect choice. Nice that the bar was in the hotel and we had a good breakfast. Only too bad was that the breakfast did not include Tea or orangejuice as we had to pay extra for that. It was a very good stay.'

'The staff was amazing. Breakfast and breakfast hours were great. Lots of food options close by. Location was very convenient for what we needed. Kitchenette was a great bonus. The only thing that altered my feelings about our stay was finding bloodstains on the box spring of the bed. I laid plastic over it just to make it seem less gross...but it was off putting for sure.'

'Lovely place. Tucked away in the mountains, close to plenty of fun hikes and wilderness adventures, as well as a pleasant little town full of rural Alberta charm. The cabin is closely adjacent to a couple other cabins so don't expect complete isolation, but that said, we never saw any of the other guests. Cabin was clean, pristine, and well-equipped with two separated sleeping areas, making it perfect for two friends traveling together, which was the case for us.Going to add my voice to the...
