'Staff was great! Friendly and informative. When we checked into our room it had a mildew smell. It was clean but there were air fresheners and an air purifier plugged in to try to mask the smell. There was a giant spider on the bedskirt that we were luckily able to catch and kill. Bed and pillows were extremely uncomfortable. There was the ice machine outside our door that was extremely loud when in use. Was woken up by train horns. Didn’t sleep too well. The free breakfast the next day...

'Went to shoot a ATA trapshooting event (Heartland Grand) about 20 min away in Ackley, IA. Place was comfortable and the people were great. Everything you needed was right around the corner from getting provisions to dinner out with multiple choices, fast food to a sit-down home cooked meal. Room had a little kitchette with a fridge, sink and a 2 burner stove top, along with a microwave, so cooking some eggs and bacon wasn't out of the question! 'The age and history of this cabin is part of the charm! The landings to sit and relax by the water was wonderful. tWe truly enjoyed watching he deer and birds every morning and evening.The only thing missing in this cabin is a dishwasher otherwise it is perfect! We definitely recommend this cabin to stay in.'

'The property was very clean, quite and convient. Our only real issue and this does not relate to the property was poor Verizon mobile phone service in either Iowa Falls or Alden. However, the Wi-fi in the VRBO made everything OK. We would stay again. Alden was a nice quite, clean town. We enjoyed walking the river area. We would or will stay in the future. Host was very responsive. Parking was good.'

'This was a beautiful home! We loved everything about it. The beds were comfortable. There was plenty of room for 8 guests to sleep, sit around and chat, eat meals and play games and Iowa Falls seems like a great little town.'

'Loved the Lake Cornelia house and was very close to Clarion and in between other towns we were visiting. Directions and communication with host were excellent. Only suggestion I have is for a few free drawers and hanging space for clothes as well as iron and ironing board. Overall though place had everything! Thankyou Kim.'
