« Really loved out stay at Little Mell Fell. Great instructions to find it. Set up really well for either a couple or a family of 4. Love that it's pet friendly. Was really clean and felt relatively recently done. The location was great to get around Ullswater and out to the surrounding lakes. »

« The Larches proved to be the ideal place for us to hold a family celebration. Eight of us had ample space to spread out with room for more. The large modern kitchen was perfect for cooking for a group and proved to be the hub of the house to enjoy meals together. There are many good walks in the area right from the doorstep and Kirkby Stephen is easily accessible. Some window latches in the bedrooms need replacing .We would certainly consider returning and recommend to others. »

« Overall we had a good week at Cragside Cottage, right beside a crag with sheep grazing. Lovely open-plan living area and large Smart TV which the grandchildren loved. Modern kitchen, but could have done with slightly smaller dinner plates which actually fitted in the dishwasher and pans which weren’t so heavy. « South view cottage was everything we wanted for our 4 night stay. The cottage is fully equipped, providing everything you’ll need. The views are beautiful and it’s so peaceful. Bruce was a fantastic host. We will be back to south view cottage again soon. »

« We had a lovely time in this comfortable cottage. The views from the rear are spectacular especially with the trees in golden autumn colours. It is cosy and very convenient for the village and Ullswater. »

« Great location for us as we wanted to explore that area. Cottage is set out lovely, you can relax on a cosy sofa looking out over the hills from large patio doors. Bedroom cosy with a comfortable bed. Would be a positive improvement if you got some new bedding. Kitchen well equipped but please, please clean the oven and the overhead fan. Bathroom with a large shower with lovely hot water, but please, please mend the broken tiles and re grout the base of the shower. Great tv but needs...
