'The cottage was perfect, in a gorgeous area of wild Donegal. Easy walk to a couple of small beaches. Nice shop and pub a few minutes car ride away. 'We’ve been renting holiday homes in Ireland since 1996 and have been fortunate to choose good ones nearly every time. The Hilltown is our new favorite after a recent 10-night stay. 'This was a lovely spot. The accomodation was basic but really all that is needed. We did not have any hot water for all our stay however. We called (no answer) and left a message (no reply). This was a bit disappointing. The bunk beds look practical but with one person on the bottom bunk and one on the top sleep was hard as everytime one of us moved the bed would creek and wobble. '

'This house was a great base for our family trip to Donegal. The large travel cot & high chair came in very handy. It was cosy and comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked with utensils etc. and there was plenty of room for us all to eat and sit together. The location was excellent, just a short walk to Killahoey beach or into Dunfanaghy. We all agreed it was a winner. Only complaint was it seemed like a few small repairs are needed - one of the windows and one of the showers.'
