'Good accommodation in great location. Room with lake veiw balcony was great. Some parts of room and hotel looking a bit dated. Had to ask for sofa bed to be made up, even though we had booked for 3 adults. Breakfast area very busy at weekend. Overall we had a good stay and would recommend.'

'Overall, Windermere House is a fun, affordable place to stay for couples or families. The setting is beautiful and the building is clean and kept up nicely. The room was larger than expected and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was "over lit", but satisfactory. The breakfasts were good although a bit more variety would be nice. The staff members were very helpful and friendly. We'd definitely consider a return trip :)'

'The resort was not close to anything except the golf course so if you weren’t golfing there wasn’t much to do except go for a swim at the pool. The bed in our suite was not to our liking, too firm, and the light switches on the wall in the bedroom didn’t turn any lights on or off. Additionally, construction workers were still working on the seventh floor and when they started working it was noisy. No sound proofing in the room, we could hear if anyone was in the hallway or on other floors or...

'Firstly, 5 Stars for Nidhi at the Front Desk. Truly, 5 Stars! Hotel is in good location in Bracebridge. Close to original downtown, and newer big box retail. And all inclusive pricing: parking, breakfast, great pool & gym, etc. My one negative was the hallway noise. Not sure if the suite doors are hollow, or if the thresholds were too high, but we put towels at the bottom of our door. But, all in all, it was a nice stay at a good hotel.'
