'De bedden waren heel slecht. Er stonden maar 2 bedden op de kamer terwijl er 3 geboekt waren. Heel slecht kinderbed. Ontbijt was niet te eten. '

'Lovely room, helpful staff, everything was very clean.'

'Lovely hotel, staff friendly and very helpful. Spa is wonderful.'

'Lovely hotel located just outside Tewkesbury with stunning views of the Malvern hills. Rooms were well appointed with good facilities. The bar area didn’t always have sufficient staff working,. Would have been good to have had more staff working'

'We stayed at The Cottage in The Wood for one night during a mini-tour of the UK. The hotel is unique, an amazing location and the room we had was generous and well appointed with lovely touches. We enjoyed the food very much - high quality menu, beautifully presented (including the excellent breakfast). It should be noted that whilst Expedia promotes the hotel as pet friendly - which it is from an accommodation point of view with a lovely blanket and other elements provided - unfortunately the...

'Room was lovely and clean and we had a modern bathroom. Staff were very friendly, food was excellent and service was great. Parking was easy and cheap (6 pounds I think) and the property is gorgeous. We had a room upstairs which was fantastic, our friends had one down the corridor which was different and not as nice. The only thing was the bed - it was extremely hard and impacted our ability to sleep well. If there was a topper or a different mattress I would stay again in a pinch, or just stay...

'On arrival I was told I’ve been downgraded to a standard room after paying for a premium room. Pretty rude staff wouldn’t change your alter and just saying I will just take it off the bill at the end. That wasn’t the answer what the answer I wanted was I’m sure your room isn’t available, but we can upgrade you to Different room, ordered two £40 steaks meals most of it was Fat with about eight chips overall we won’t be coming back really underrated for what you'

'The very friendly lady at the desk made my day.'

'Stayed for two nights as a stop over whilst going homeward. Wanted to have a look around the area. Room was small but adequate. Clean with en-suite shower. Ate in the dining area of the pub both nights and enjoyed the food. Informal but friendly service by all, and a nice relaxed atmosphere. Recommend a walk to the canal and then the walk to Gloucester on the tow path. It’s well paved and flat and about three miles.'

'This was second visit and delighted with room, food, location and staff!'
