« It’s a lovely hotel swimming pool gym facials staff are really helpful especially Michell on reception well done Michell deserves a star The only downside was the food some uneatable worse than any hotel I’ve been too we ended up going elsewear for our food we did complain the second night needs looking into I had the same sweet two nights one was really good strawberries cream biscuits delicious the second night they forgot the cream and strawberries and only one biscuit Sorry »

« Room was not as pictures and we got an older room that looked like part of the old hotel and not the new extended hotel. »

« Excellent hotel with good bar food and restaurant options.The staff are great, very helpful and friendly. Next to good hiking trails in the beautiful Ribble Valley Only downside was the rooms on the ground floor get some noise from creaking floors from the rooms above. Last visit was particularly bad because there was a wedding reception so the noise from the floor above went on very late. »

« Felt it was good value all pretty good if fairly basic friendly staff aim to please. Good bacon sandwich fresh cooked .clean. TV parking. Pub and evening meals on site ok. »

« Staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very good and the one meal we had in the restaurant was great too. It's a little old fashioned in style which adds to its charm. They started breakfast early due to people going to the Open golf which was helpful. Only small negatives were the mid week breakfast finish time of 8.30am which seems a bit early (although they did serve a couple at 9am with no fuss) and the shower flow was not great. Overall would recommend to others. »
