'Het hotel heeft een prachtige ligging en is van vroeger uit een herenhuis geweest. De stijl is ook grotendeels behouden gebleven. Het personeel is hartstikke vriendelijk. Jammer dat de kamers zo gedateerd zijn. Ontbijt en diner zijn prima. Dinerkaart mag wel wat worden uitgebreid. '

'Everything about this hotel was perfect. Easy parking, beautiful grounds, lovely clean room with complimentary drinks, fridge, and tea & coffee making facilities. Bath and shower, comfortable beds; lovely, helpful staff. Tasty breakfast, everything you could want, and excellent evening meals. Dogs were allowed, but not in the main house. They didn't really bother us, just a few "yappy" ones. Definitely Five Stars'

'A little gem that we will definitely return to. Rooms were finished to a high quality - not just style over substance. Beds comfy, shower amazing, hot tub fab and one of the best nights sleep for a while. Paired with excellent food and service at Bowling Green Inn, would highly recommend 👍'

'Firstly, the only reason I haven't given this hotel a terrible score is because of the staff. They were friendly, welcoming and did their best to help. Unfortunately, The Devonshire Arms was a real disappointment considering the £180 we paid for one night. I genuinely wouldn't recommend paying more than £100 per night. The photos on the website make the hotel look much better than it actually is, and I wish we'd travelled a little further and booked elsewhere. The room was clean, but...
