'I arrived about 9 pm. The temp was 70, with 71% humidity. I set the thermostat to 65. After 10 min, the sytem kicked off. I contacted the owner. He said to close the blinds & give the thermostat time to communicate with the A/C. Ten min had already passed. The temp had gone up & the humidity was now 76%. 'The small house was perfect for my wife and I when visiting relatives in the area. We utilized the kitchen every morning and slept comfortably. The loft at the top of the metal spiral staircase in the kitchen looks like it would be lots of fun for kids, but we did not use it. 'Nice little house and quiet neighborhood… But be careful on the front steps and stoop. They are slanted and have uneven ridges. Shoes can easily catch and you WILL trip and fall (we did). Also check in availability is late (5 PM). If you want earlier or at least 3 PM (which is the industry standard), you have to pay an extra 25 for every earlier hour that you need. Take this in consideration if you are in town for an evening event you will be rushing to. '
